La Rocca di Manerba and the Islands
La Rocca di Manerba is one of the most spectacular viewpoints on Lake Garda: a rocky promontory rising 150 metres above the lake with 360-degree views over the Island of San Biagio, the Isola del Garda and the Sirmione peninsula. At the summit lie the ruins of a medieval castle and several trekking trails immersed in unspoilt nature, rich in wild orchids. Sunset from the Rocca is an unforgettable experience.
The Island of San Biagio, known as the "Rabbit Island", is just 200 metres from the shore and reachable by water taxi from Porto Torchio. The Isola del Garda, the largest island on the lake, is home to a 19th-century Venetian villa that can be visited on guided tours.
